Terms of Use & Disclaimer

Last updated: June 25, 2026

Welcome to Quiet Kid Interview Prep, operated by J. Hines Educational Consulting, LLC ("we," "us"). By using this website or buying the tool, you agree to these terms. We've kept them plain.

What this is

Quiet Kid Interview Prep is an educational tool for parents preparing a child for a private-school admissions interview. It draws on Jennifer Hines's experience as a former Dean of Admission. It gives you guidance, practice questions, prep tools, and a personalized "portrait" — a short written note about how your child seemed to show up in an at-home practice run, based on what you reported.

It is for the parent. It is designed never to address or interact with the child directly.

What this is not

  • It is not a guarantee of admission, or of any outcome. Admissions decisions are made by schools, on many factors outside this tool's view. We promise you helpful preparation, not a result.
  • It is not professional advice. It is not psychological, medical, educational-diagnostic, legal, or individualized admissions-consulting advice. It does not assess, evaluate, or diagnose your child. If you have concerns about your child's development or wellbeing, please consult a qualified professional.
  • The portrait is one perspective, generated by AI. It is based on a single practice run that you observed and reported. It may contain errors, and it is intentionally framed as a hedged read for you to confirm against what you saw — not a verdict on your child. Use your own judgment; you know your child best.

Using the tool

  • The tool is licensed to you for your own personal, family use. Please don't copy, resell, or redistribute the content.
  • Use the tool as intended — to support a calm, low-pressure preparation. It is built to help you stop over-preparing, not to drill a child.

Intellectual property

All content — the frameworks, the guide, the questions, the tools, and the site — belongs to J. Hines Educational Consulting, LLC and is protected by copyright. Buying the tool gives you a personal license to use it, not ownership of the content.
